Since moving to Salida from Breckenridge in 2014, where she lived for over a decade with her husband, Jillian has been an active and engaged member of our community. Her strong entrepreneurial spirit began in 2005 when she co-founded Fresh Tracks Transportation in Breckenridge. She successfully grew this business, providing vital transportation services such as ski shuttles, airport transfers, and wedding transportation throughout Summit & Eagle County, before its successful sale in 2013.
Upon moving to Chaffee County, Jillian pursued her passion for real estate, earning her Real Estate Broker Associate license and working with Wes Hill and Associates from 2014 to 2017. Her real estate experience continued as she and her husband became the proud owners and operators of Creekside Chalets on Monarch Pass. At Creekside, Jillian used her expertise to revitalize the property through significant improvements and enhanced marketing. Creekside Chalets is now a thriving year-round, pet-friendly vacation rental business popular with skiers, outdoor enthusiasts, and families. Owning and managing nine commercial vacation rentals on ten acres has also provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of building equity through property ownership. Her experience with property upgrades and expansions, property taxes & assessments, well and septic improvements, and short-term rental operations has given her valuable insight into many aspects of real estate in our area.
Demonstrating her commitment to the community after the Decker fire, Jillian and her husband also founded High Country Hand Wash LLC in 2020. This company provides essential hand wash stations for the federal government during large wildfire incidents, showcasing their dedication to disaster relief efforts in our state.
Jillian is currently the Secretary for the Chaffee County Visitors Bureau, where she advocates for responsible tourism initiatives that benefit both visitors and our community. Jillian and her husband are busy parents to two active young boys at Longfellow Elementary and Discovery Ranch, and as a family, they enjoy rafting, biking, camping, and skiing, truly appreciating calling this valley home.
Through her diverse entrepreneurial background, Jillian has cultivated valuable strengths in detail orientation, a focus on quality process improvements, innovative thinking, and clear communication. She is confident these skills will greatly assist her in helping clients achieve their real estate goals in Chaffee County.
